My review:
BlogSoc.com is basically a site for bloggers to get to know new bloggers (and blogs) and to promote their own. It promises to provide opportunities for its members to earn shares in their society's earnings with a claim that they may be able to get real money for them in the future. Though not new, this is an interesting idea worth exploring, as it acts as an incentive for its members to participate actively. However, with an increasing number of websites promising similar goodies, it is important to build credibility by actually delivering tangible benefits (recall the Agloco case example).
I do like the logo and the layout of their website, which is easy on the eyes. However, it would be helpful if BlogSoc.com had an FAQ page which addresses some concerns of potential members, such as how they can earn their shares and how theses may be used. More background on the site and owners as well as a privacy policy may also act as an assurance for visitors and potential members. Nonetheless, they seem to have a growing community of members which bodes well for the future.

The new year seems to be getting off to a flyer with several $100 contests flying about. Tyler from TylerCruz.com and Gyutae from WinningTheWeb.com have decided that they want a piece of the action as well so they are offering 3 prizes of $100 each to 3 lucky bloggers.

Well, as you may have guessed from the previous paragraph, my vote goes to Tyler Cruz. Why? Perhaps it is because I'm a fool to reject the almost certain bonus prize of a free T-shirt offered by Gyutae for voting for him? Nah. Gyutae seems like a great guy but my vote still goes to Tyler, bonus prize or not.
Tyler gets my vote as I've been impressed with how he has grasped the opportunities that have come his way, such as the cool $23k he made last year for brokering someone's domain. I've also enjoyed reading his many reviews which have been very thorough and professionally done. He has also written several interesting and useful articles as well, such as this recent one on the importance of market research. Despite his tender age, he is already running several websites of his own and earning a fair bit of income as well.
So folks, go support one of them and you may just find yourself $100 richer!

You may be wondering why some contests publicized on other blogs do not appear on Blog Paradise. This is mainly because I spend a fair bit of time to filter out certain contests for the benefit of my readers. Similarly, not all contests submitted to me get published eventually.
If you have noticed, you do not see any contests which originate from adult-related sites or blogs with adult-related themes. This is to ensure the family-friendly atmosphere of this blog.
You will also be hard-pressed to find any contests which impose geographical restrictions on entry as I really do not like excluding anyone from a contest. There is no hard and fast rule about this as many other factors come into play which I also consider when selecting a contest to be published here.
I must make it clear that I am in no way against such contest holders, nor am I inferring anything negative about them. It is just a self-imposed principle of mine which I wish to maintain for this blog as a personal responsibility towards my readers. This is also what differentiates Blog Paradise from some of the other blogs.
Of course, I love feedback so I welcome any suggestions, thoughts or comments you may have about this.
